Compassion is beyond religion, culture, education.
It it beyond age and gender. It exists in us all.

If an 8 year old, who has never studied moral science
or been taught value education,
can forget her hunger and walk for miles
to do whatever is in her power
to help children younger than her survive.
She cannot afford to bring food, but she can bathe them.
So she'll carry water for miles
and she'll pluck some greens on the way.
just wonder what greatness lies within the meekest.

There is hope, there was and always will be.
